Coated multifilament thread — a polyamide thread combined with an inert proprietary paste. Unlike Fuhuaflon®, which is a PTFE-based dynamic sealant, Thread Seal Cord uses this polyamide-and-paste construction to form a flexible, wind-on cord seal for general-purpose pipe threading.
Fuhuaflon® Thread Seal Cord is a general-purpose threaded pipe and fitting sealant for sealing metal and plastic tapered pipe threads and NPT fittings. It is suitable for potable and wastewater lines (hot or cold), gas, compressed air and industrial oils, with application temperatures up to 180°C. It comes in an easy-to-carry, pocket-sized case with a built-in cutter.
